Farewell Winter Midnight Madness

HAHA snowboarding again! with one of my classmates and his bunch of cliques, the conditions of the slopes are quite sad that day, we signed up for the Midnight madness lift ticket, i guess we are mad. Slopes all ice .... which is a biT55 and a 1/2 to control our direction and the ice is so hard that we could not even dig into the "snow" so its like braking a 3 tonner with your ... face. One of our friends actually fell on the black diamond, and slid down almost all the way on his butt, while observing several unfortunate ones doing the same thing. You just could not dig into the snow... so its almost impossible to stand up. I actually saw a skier roll down a slope full of muguls for like 50 meters... all ice .. he kind of survived i guess.

Dispite all the misfortunes, the sunset was really brilliant for like 10 mins...!
One of the worst days to go snowboarding, the slopes are all ice.... all ice ... and a few patches of exposed ground. Some of my friends are quite pro at this and they are afraid to go on the black diamond run today. So we pretty much stayed clear of trouble and hung around the green circles and blue square trails... well the greens circles are pretty nice at this place.... long and windy, unlike the black and blue trails, which are just boring straight slopes. The place has a hilarious name too, "Crotched Mountains" .... and the people working there wore ridiculous shirts with huge letters "Crotched Crew" printed on them. HAHAHA!!!

Went to Wachusett mountain today again. Took a vid of noob lauren falling ... cannot really see the details, as i could not make a chase cam fast enough.... (not enough slope to acclerate) but if u look a little closely at 0:26 between the two snowboarders that enters the vid u can see a puff of white in the distance , hahaha.

Yea went snowboardin yesterday again... damn sian... school starts next monday. Oh yea its the same people again, but this time YuYa takes on the snowboard.... so no pictures and videos.... BUT WAIT ... i got one ! ... Yu Ya crashing into me ;p... its his first time so its forgiven

Niew Ear!

Ok! I lied ... Did not really do much on New Year's day.. was too tired to do anything after the trip from New Jersy. The bus ride with Rods and Yuya to New York is already 4 hours and probably developed piles after sitting on the super uncomfortable chair .. BUT! decided to look like an idiot and brought my "megalo" body sized pillow with me .... something to hug during the journey... NOTICE ANYTHING ABOUT MY HAIR??? YES!!! THE GINGER IS BACK!!!!

Reached NYC in the late afternoon and the whole damn city is just packed with people .... big mistake no.1 I bought my luggage with me. I somehow tripped more than 10 people who decided to walk with their eyes closed and following the nearest person infront .. f**ing sheeple... i even got separated from my friends because of human traffic ... seriously did not enjoy the walk in NYC. Did not take any pictures due to reasons above .

.... after that we took a train to NJ... met up with lauren's childhood friends and strangely enough her 21st birthday surprise for us is mini golf... we were playing golf in the dark room lit with black light... damn fun .... several times where i putted the ball towards the hole, it mysteriously veerd offcourse on the last few inches to the hole ... dammit! stupid AIR VENTS! MOST AWESOME OF ALL is the money u need to pay for a game ... it costs about $7 per head... i handed them a $100 note and got some loose change, a $50 dollar bill and 4x $20 dollar bills ... DO THE MATH GUYS!!! Treated the peeps to a drink at a nearby diner. Died on one of the couches when i reach lauren's home.
Now who says NJ is a wasteland and a butt of all jokes of americans.... its pretty!!! Thanks for showing us arnd NJ ! Sarah ... more pics can be found on facebook prolly a day or two ... when i decide to upload those pictures... due to some stupid reasons, and "classified information" XD. We even saw a deer crossing the road the previous night... NJ roads are lined with forests and little to no street lamps, u can see a sea of stars at night.... most of all, bendy roads , every road is like the 99 bends.
Got a treat from Lauren's parents for her 21st, went to a Japanese .... cannot remember what this kind of cooking is called, the chef is a clown... from shooting pieces of cucumbers into our mouths and squirting sake into people's mouth (above).... and channeling amazing fire elemental spells (below)

Headed back to her home and ... oh ya forgot to mention .... surprise all the way from China ... Octavio is back !!! Look at him ... jet lag written all over his face... (classified information)... she got a Reeses chocolate cake... the chocolate fudge.. icing is 1cm thick and was horrible (agreed by everybody)... played some drinking and card games in the living room ... kinda died after that...
Back to NYC on the 31st... opposite the bus terminal was a DVD shop.... more like a DVD porn shop... kinda creative huh the above titles? "naked scene on trampoline.... i guess octavio loves "Latin Limbo Party" coz he is pointing to it ;p

Cooking Lesson No 1

Having eaten those delicious tonkatsu ... i decided to make some of my own for Lauren's 21st .. yeah i am going to New Jersey tml with Rods and Yuya .... so making my own special tonkatsu ... "how hard can it be?" <--- Jeremy Clarkson

I will update the text ... hopefully .. coz i have a bus to catch and friends to meet soon ... bought some pork and removed all the fats .... everybody hate fats .... yea seasoning ... cannot find pepper ... so i used paprika instead should be good ... at least its not poisonous for what i know
Frying in hot oil .... still need some skill in temperature control ... some of the pork fritters came out okay ... but others too white ... i dunno why .... i wish some one would come out with an idea of frying with air instead of oil ... so messy ...

Oh well i guess it turns out fine !! never got to blow things up ... just like electronics lab ... tastes awesome ... just that its abit the oily .... HOW man ... HOW??? And another problem that i overlooked is the fritters that sink to the bottom, i removed the "floaters" but never thought of the "sinkers". Black stuff gets on to the cutlet -.-... tried my best...

After the cooking session i was shocked that i have to "dredge" the muck from the bottom of the oil ... Promise from the Great Chef Sio .. i will update more after i come back from New Jersey...

Not so difficult after you get the hang of things ... just that the cleaning up is a pain in the ass.. needs some more practice to get the hang of things and ... to cook the soul out of the food ... *****
